Luke Howard is a Columbus-based artist, beekeeper, and educator recognized for his work at the intersection of environmental science and community art. He is the founder of The Bee Collective, a grassroots organization established in 2020 to support urban pollinators. Howard describes himself as a beekeeper with a focus on the arts, often referencing the concept of becoming “native to place” by falling in love with one’s environment. He has been practicing beekeeping and art for over nine years.
